Explore

Explore is a relationships education charity, set up in 2000 which delivers workshops that help young people discuss, evaluate and explore long-term, positive, healthy relationships within the context of marriage. Each session is run by a professional Explore local development officer who manages the whole session. Our pool of hundreds of volunteer married couples attend schools with us and take part in a facilitated dialogue with students. Students are encouraged to ask whatever questions they want to, direct to the couple, who give open and honest answers concerning their own relationship. The charity in funded through voluntary donations and a contribution from schools. They are always keen to introduce new couples with interesting stories to tell. Students and teachers consistently rate Explore workshops excellent or very good.

Marriage Foundation

Championing marriage for the good of society …especially our children     Marriage Foundation is a national charity, launched in 2012 in response to the epidemic levels of family breakdown.  ● ● ● ● ● Our Purpose: To be a powerful independent voice restoring confidence in marriage. Using the best and latest research, we advocate the advantages of marriage; challenge the social injustices of family breakdown and demonstrate that marriage is both modern and the best arrangement for all couples  ● ● ● ● ● Our Vision is: To see the aspiration of a life-long, fulfilling marriage as an attainable goal for all, especially our young people; To see a society that thrives because stable marriage (or formal commitment) becomes the first choice for all couples; To halt the current declining marriage rate because marriage is the single most effective key to reducing family breakdown.  ● ● ● ● ● What do we do?  Marriage Foundation confronts and challenges the status quo. By undertaking, publishing and broadcasting ground breaking research we heighten public, media and government awareness and understanding of the scale of the national tragedy of family breakdown and its causes; Through collaboration and partnering with a wide range of like-minded organisations we advocate effective remedies and signpost people to them; We coordinate national projects.   www.marriagefoundation.org.uk

The 4 Habits

Through a series of live workshops and online webinars / courses, we help couples, individuals and teams develop the 4 habits of all successful relationships, so they “turn up” to relationships better, have better conversations and achieve better outcomes. All relationships face a common set of hurdles.  Success comes from being equipped to overcome these hurdles before they become challenges.  Based on over 25yrs of working with relationships, these 4 habits have proven to be the difference between successful and unsuccessful relationships.  Our mission is to help create healthier people, families and societies, and reduce the rate of family breakdown, by proactively educating them to do relationships well.

They are best known for their marriage weekends running both online and residentially across the UK.  The weekends create a safe place for couples to slow the pace, reconnect and focus on their marriage.
