Introduction

Here’s a little something to start the proceedings…sometimes a little indulgence is necessary, after all we’re here to enjoy life not endure it!

 

Ingredients

  • Peeled fresh root ginger, size of half a thumb
  • 50ml dry gin
  • 25ml fresh lime juice
  • 1tbs sugar syrup
  • Soda water

Method

Muddle all the ingredients except for the soda water into cocktail shaker, tip in some ice, shake it like maniac then strain coolly into a high-ball glass and top with soda water.  Garnish with a piece of spent lime.
